Originally from McMinnville, John has lived in southern Oregon for the past four years. He graduated from Portland State University in 2013 with a B.S. Arts and Letters – focusing on media production and environmental sciences. He has been working and volunteering in the fields of conservation, recreation, and agriculture for the past 13 years with a focus on project management methodology since 2020. He strives for a collaborative and multidisciplinary approach to rural conservationism. Off the clock, he enjoys spending time with his family, angling, foraging, reading, and dabbling in various art forms.
